He is popular for appearing in the Tamil drama serial, “Thirumathi Selvam” directed by S. Kumaran and produced under Vikatan Televistas. He played the lead role as Selvam, a mechanic who was unmarried because he works hard for the welfare of his family. This serial was broadcasted on Sun TV from 2007 to 2013. Sanjeev came from a family which is involved in television and films that’s why he ended up as an actor too. His sister, Sindhu, is an actress.

Sanjeev is also the nephew of the late Yesteryear actress, Manjula Vijayakumar. His closest friend is Kollywood actor and playback singer, Vijay.

They both went to Loyola College in Chennai to study Visual Communications. He was also Deepak Dinkar and Shree’s colleague. Sanjeev got arranged marriage to the television actress, Preethi Srinivasan in 2009 and they are blessed with a daughter Laya. Sanjeev played a negative role in the popular Tamil drama serial, “Metti Oli” in 2002 which was later dubbed in Telugu as “Mettala Savvadi”. Then he acted in the popular daily soap Annamalai (2002 -2005). After performing in many negative and supporting roles, he got a chance to play the lead role in Thirumathi Selvam. This show became a huge success among the Television viewers and he was applauded for his performance as Selvam.

He also got few awards for his performance in Thirumathi Selvam like the Best Actor Male Award in Vivel Chinnathirai Award in 2008, Best Actor Male Award in Tamil Nadu State Award for Television in 2009, Best Actor Male in Sun Kudumbam Awards in 2010 and Most Entertaining Male Actor in Big FM Tamil Entertainment Awards for Television in 2011. Since then, Sanjeev started getting many offers as a lead in television serials like Manikoondu, Vilakku Vacha Nerathula, Idhayam, Aval, Thulasi, and Karai. He also hosted the Kala Master’s dance competition show, Maanada Mayilada, which was broadcasted on Kalaignar TV from 2007 and running till date up to the present. Sanjeev entered the silver screen in supporting roles with his friend Vijay.

In the year 1998, he did the movie, Nilaave Vaa as Baasha. Then in 2001, he appeared as Badri’s friend in Tamil sports action film, Badri, and continued to do few more Tamil films like En Mana Vaanil, Puthiya Geethai, Nenjirukkum Varai and Palaivana Solai. Bose Venkat Commonly Known as Venkat, is an Indian Tamil Film and Television Actor who often plays supporting roles. He was born on May 15, 1975 in Madras, Tamil Nadu. He is married to Malayalam film actress, Sonia on September 5, 2003. They have two sons named Rudraksh Venkat and Tejaswin Venkat and a daughter Bavatharani. Delhi Kumar played the role of Chidambaram, the father of Dhanam, Saroja, Leela, Viji and Bhavani in Metti Oli. He is a land broker who tries to bring his children the best way he can. Then, Delhi Kumar did the serial, ‘Tharkappu Kalai Theeratha’. Later, he acted as a male protagonist in the Tamil drama soap, ‘Mundhanai Mudichu’. He once again appeared as a father in the serial; he was the father of three daughters who get them wedded to three sons of his friend.

In 2012, Delhi Kumar also played the role of Chidambaram, the father of Santhosh and Devi, in the drama soap, Bommalattam on Sun TV. Though his interest is in stage dramas, Delhi Kumar feels TV is a better option because of certain constraints in drama.
