He is popular for appearing in the Tamil drama serial, “Thirumathi Selvam” directed by S. Kumaran and produced under Vikatan Televistas. He played the lead role as Selvam, a mechanic who was unmarried because he works hard for the welfare of his family. This serial was broadcasted on Sun TV from 2007 to 2013. Sanjeev came from a family which is involved in television and films that’s why he ended up as an actor too. His sister, Sindhu, is an actress.
Sanjeev is also the nephew of the late Yesteryear actress, Manjula Vijayakumar. His closest friend is Kollywood actor and playback singer, Vijay.
They both went to Loyola College in Chennai to study Visual Communications. He was also Deepak Dinkar and Shree’s colleague. Delhi Kumar played the role of Chidambaram, the father of Dhanam, Saroja, Leela, Viji and Bhavani in Metti Oli. He is a land broker who tries to bring his children the best way he can.
